Misguarded

Harvest resources from this alien planetary creatures while defeating  waves of enemies!

Synopsis:

It’s been 5 years since I left earth to travel to what is supposed to be our redemption. I was the only one left to accomplish this particular mission and fulfill one of the hardest tasks I was ever asked to do. But I’m not the first to arrive on this strange foreign planet. Another company already established their ‘territory’ on what they baptized this planet to be named as ‘Salus’. Thus, meaning salvation in our long dead Latin language.

To be honest, they won’t fool anyone except the purpose they serve. They’re not saving anything at all. They built an army of robots to collect some special resource that can only be harvested from the rodent’s looking creatures themselves. I went to get a closer look at their habitat, all that can be said is that it’s peculiar. Usually if they were to be smart they wouldn’t build their nest in the open like that. But they look pretty fine living like that. What delusional creatures…

Frankly, this whole planet doesn’t make any sense, but maybe it’s because I’m seeing it from my dull human eyes. We don’t have any nature left back at home. Yet, everything that I saw in books never looked any close to all of this. This all feels like a daydream. The fauna shouldn’t be able to flourish in such diversified ways.

On the other hand, that enterprise, Metallix Minning Corp.… they really made a big impression on this planet. Not only did they build large machines to excavate the lands, but they built some robots as well that would wipe out any living form confronting them.  

I think they might’ve found out that they’re not the only ones on this planet anymore. I was quite careless when I observed their robots, their detectors spot me and they definitely showed they didn’t like competition at all when they sent the robots after me. They want to get rid of me, but I won’t give them any satisfaction.  

I have a clear advantage on them. If I protect these tiny creatures from the robots that are hunting me AND trying to slaughter them for the precious resource, maybe they’ll be grateful or at least gullible enough to let me take some of it back… And if they don’t… well, they’ll have to play by my rules.
